anyway, there were a couple things I liked about THE FOG remake, but it suffers from the pg-13 rating. Like I said a few months ago, the PG-13 rating on the Fog remake shouldn't matter, because the original film has NO VIOLENCE IN IT! . :? If Carpenter's film were re-evaluated by the MPAA today, it...

Terminator 3 aside, I can't think of any sequels made over a decade after the original that were any good (and T3 only worked because Schwarzenegger still looked pretty much the same as he did in T2 ). Indy 4 would be a Phantom Menace -level disappointment (could you imagine an Indy movie with Janu...

Yeah, Tarantino has said he wants to release Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair sometime this year, which would be both volumes stitched together (featuring an intermission at the halfway point) and with some extra footage (mainly the "House Of Blue Leaves" chapter in full color). I'd love...

You mean you don't want to see Casino Royale With Cheese starring John Travolta as Bond, Samuel Jackson as Felix Leiter, David Carradine as Le Chiffre and Uma Thurman's feet as Vesper Lynd? Or to have the James Bond theme replaced with Green Onions? Or for the torture scene to feature a dancing Mic...

Eh, the Tomatometer crucified The Legend Of Zorro , which I quite enjoyed, so I'm looking forward to seeing the movie next week and making up my own mind (I'm reading the book right now, which is great). Plus, Ziyi Zhang is one of the most beautiful actresses working today. :D http://goldsea.com/Asi...

I found The Thin Red Line to be a big pile of pretentious poo, so I'm not terribly enthused about The New World. Give me Disney's underrated Pocahontas any day. 8)

Every bit as bad an idea as Indy 4. It'd just be too sad to see an aging, tic-ridden Fox trying to recapture that youthful magic again. :(

Then again, it'd give Elisabeth Shue some work... 8)

I've played DVD18's before with no problem. Plus, there were visible scuff marks on the surfaces of both discs, causing freezing problems with both copies I've tried so far. I'm getting another copy next week, and if it happens again, I'm giving up.

Unfortuneately, in both copies of the movie I've gotten so far, the Kong ticket has rubbed against the exposed side of the disc, causing severe freezing problems.

Or what was the name of that Superhero Duck in the purple cape (and I'm not thinking about Daffy Duck's Scarlet Pumpernickel)? That's Darkwing Duck you're talking about. "Let's get dangerous! " http://www.toonopedia.com/darkwing.jpg Hopefully the new Rescue Rangers and Duck Tales se...

Jack, I didn't figure you to be a Rescue Rangers kind of guy! :) Like my username didn't tip you off. 8) http://www.80scartoons.co.uk/chipanddale1.jpg I've watched most of the episodes on the first disc, and despite some clumsy edits to eliminate act breaks, the transfers look pretty good. Ah, nost...

Rescue Rangers on DVD!

An' it's about bloomin' time if ye ask me. Too bad the opening credits use the watered-down version of the theme song from the Toon Disney reruns. :(
