Re: Powerhouse Indicator Sale
Any advantage to getting the Harryhausen box set of the Sinbad movies vs getting them separately? 3 for 15 individually, but 27 for the set. I can't find any special about the box set. Looks like there is an 80 page book with the box set. Also look at the ACCESSORIES page to buy overrun booklets an...

Re: Twilight Time OOP at SAE
More TT releases have turned up. I decided to get HOUSE OF BAMBOO. I have the strong impression SAE is winding down, with this sort of thing and their frequent and significant sales purging inventory on an ongoing basis. I think it soon won't be the 'all in one' shop it used to be, but more like Int...

Re: Powerhouse Indicator Sale
I decided to take a chance on getting the three titles I mentioned, plus "Experiment In Terror" and "The Anderson Tapes" which I believe are region-free, because I think I can rip these Blu-Rays to my computer and at least go through the supplements. I've been able to do that wi...

Re: Powerhouse Indicator Sale
Picked up a bunch of the region free releases, as I don't have many Indicators. A mix of curiosities and stuff I've wanted for a while. Many limited editions, too. Shipping is not too bad for 18 releases @ about £25 Indicator removes VAT, too. A TIME FOR DYING - LE £7.49 HOFFMAN - LE £7.49 ORPHANS -...

Re: Deepdiscount/Imprint Sale - New Titles Added
Thanks for letting me know about this sale, Andy. :) I picked up quite a few IMPRINT releases, as I have none just now. From WOWHD.CA (which was mirroring DDs low prices in Canadian dollars). Jonathan Livingston Seagull Rage The Chalk Garden The Two Worlds of Jennie Logan The Mothman Prophecies and ...

Re: Kino Lorber October Sale
Picked up a bunch from a local Canadian distributor which was matching prices (in some cases slightly cheaper). Slightly different selection than what I would have bought from Kino directly. Blue Panther aka Marie-Chantal vs. Doctor Kha Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid SHENANDOAH STRANGER ON THE RUN DEATH ...

Re: Elisabeth Shue Alert!!! (Link edition)
I'm tempted by this. I've never bought Link before because I don't really like the idea of a movie with monkeys. BUT I've always wanted to see it because I know the St.Abbs area where it was shot very well. I've been there multiple times. How's the location work in the film? Is it worth getting for ...

Re: Kino Lorber - "While Supplies Last Sale" Adds Over 70 Titles
Except these titles are all going out of print so whenever they run out, it's over. I don't think they typically "restock" anything that ends up on this list, do they? I've been following WSL sale for about 6 months now and as far as I see releases just disappear from the list when they r...

Re: Kino Lorber - "While Supplies Last Sale" Adds Over 70 Titles
I'll be making an order as soon as I can figure out if I have The Land That Time Forgot or The People That Time Forgot . I seem to remember watching one of them... but can't find either of them in my bookshelves. My understanding of Temporarily Out of Stock is just that they have to get more b...

Re: LEGEND Coming From Arrow - 2-Disc Blu-Ray - Spetember
Come on Sprocket, you get a reprint of my interview with Charlie deLauzirika for starters!! :D (Of course you can also see it for free here on my site too ;0) Seriously there should be some really good new extras. I also sent James Flower, the producer, my copy of the TV version so they should be i...

Re: Kino June Swoon Sale
Boy, is it hard to make a Kino sale order. :D I've just resurfaced from a deep plunge into the sales catalogue and came out with the following order: Shadow Play $7.99 (I've always had a soft spot for Dee Wallace and want to see her outside of horror/motherhood roles) Man Without a Star $7.99 The Da...

Re: LEGEND Coming From Arrow - 2-Disc Blu-Ray - Spetember
Am I missing something? I don't see this as much of an upgrade to the previous Universal release, except for a remastered US cut, which I've never been interested in.
