Re: Calls to Save TCM After Top Staff Fired
Brutal. If heavy hitters like that can't convince them to try and save it I don't know what will.

Re: Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One - Official Trailer
I am tired of the COVID excuses for things being under par. You can only go back to the well so many times. That's part of the problem. The other part of the problem is that this movie is really "part 1 of 2" which may be working against it. The fundamentals have to be sound. My guess is i...

It never happened. It never should have happened.

Re: Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One - Official Trailer
I have been happy with this series all told. They are fun and they don't try to be more than what they are. I agree that they are better Bond films in a number of ways. I expect a better send-off for Ethan Hunt all told.

No. Just no.
I'm sooooo tired of the way "way too late/way after the fact/bring out the fossils" sequelitis. I think I hate this even more than prequelitis and that's saying something. This is at least 20 years too late.

Re: HEAT 2 Coming From Michael Mann
I'm not feeling it. The feedback on the book was a mixed bag and I find myself saying the same thing I did about all the prequelitis: What's with all the way too late/after the fact sequels where we bring back everyone as halfway to the nursing home and the rest of it? Does everyone want to see that...

I saw it one time in the theater and that was plenty enough for me. What a mess that movie was.

Shocking. He looked a helluva lot younger than 60.
I was a fan of anything I saw or heard him in. RIP.

Re: WILLOW Sequel Series Ordered for Disney+
One of a number of projects that should never have seen the light of day. Good riddance.
