I imported the Studio Canal FLASH GORDON and THE WILD GEESE from Germany and was happy to see that the flip side of both covers get rid of that irritating massive Ratings logo on the lower left hand corner.
A nice trend I hope continues

Re: Euro Blu-Rays - Now with Reversible Covers
Reminds me of the days of VHS. In the UK, tapes had the plastic amray style boxes, some with recersible covers. It made a change from the cardboard boxes that the US had.AndyDursin wrote:I imported the Studio Canal FLASH GORDON and THE WILD GEESE from Germany and was happy to see that the flip side of both covers get rid of that irritating massive Ratings logo on the lower left hand corner.

London. Greatest City in the world.
unfortunately it depends on the studio if they provide you with reversibles.
the whole logic behind is absolutely idiotic, also the huge rating logo.
the funny thing is: they started with that to "protect youngsters", so all films must have this rating logo on the front, raging from G, 12, 16 and 18... but x-rated (which can also happen to horrorfilms...) doesnt need to be printed on the front... absolutely stunning decision.
really annoying, thats why I only buy them from the uk, cheaper there anyway...
