What a weird choice to make into a new trilogy of horror (especially as the last one came out six years ago, and the first a decade before that), but it's nice to see Renny Harlin back on the big screen after being stuck in VOD hell for most of the last twenty years. Time to kick off the Rennyaissance...!
With this and the Costner western, it seems like the new franchise pattern is going to be shooting them all at once, and releasing them within a few months of each other. Which isn't bad, if the costs are kept reasonable.
And literally ending on a "TO BE CONTINUED..." title card...
