Apparently so -- before you laugh, take a look at the reviews. One of the best reviewed flicks of the entire summer!
Apparently the $10 mil opening weekend wasn't a disaster since it only cost upwards of $20 mil and did good business overseas. (Still with 3-D ticket premiums involved it's not very impressive...at all. Maybe this is all just smack talk to get people out to see it).
Have to admit, again, I want to see it. Elisabeth Shue and lots of laughs in 3-D, apparently the movie doesn't take itself seriously and offers ridiculous amounts of gore and T&A. It's an old-time exploitation flick, nothing wrong with that (if it's good of course
