Kevin Smith seems to be one bitter guy. Not sure if you have been following it, but his new movie RED STATE was screened at Sundance in a supposed "auction" for its rights.
Turns out that Smith planned to distribute the movie all along, and took the opportunity to go off on a rant about the evils of the movie industry and the very distributors who showed up, before he showed the film.
And the best part? The movie itself is an apparent embarrassment.
His 15 minutes seem to have evaporated a long, long while ago.
Worth a read.

Really a shame. I confess I was never big into any of his movies but the man does have some talent and this just seems to be a needless waste.
