Never seen it. Odd release from Disney at this point...an actual catalog title not being sold thru the Disney Movie Club? Crazy! :)

It's a fun series you can share with your son. If it's not something you "grew up with", your mileage may vary, but it's a fairly entertaining show with good characters, animation and a theme song you will NEVER get out of your head.

Only reason I can think of it getting released is that there's an obligatory Disney+ movie coming out next spring. Hey, if it means I can get the series, that's a compromise I can deal with. :) The version of the show on D+ looks pretty phenomenal in terms of HD clean-up (especially for 80s TV animation), but they did that annoying "fake widescreen" thing where they cut off the top and bottom of the frame, just so viewers won't have to deal with "annoying black bars" on the sides. :?

Hey, any pre-CGI animation hitting Blu these days warms my heart a little.

Looks like this one is a Disney Movie Club exclusive after all.

Supposedly it's gonna be a wide release.

People who have gotten copies have provided pictorial evidence that the 1.33:1 OAR will be preserved.

MJ:

This is 15 dollars right now, if you are a member of the Disney movie club, instead of 40.

If I start up a new go-around with DMC, would I be able to get it for that price?

Not as a commitment title but once you enroll you can.

However, that price (I actually see $19 when I log in) is only good if you buy another title at full price I think. You can't just go in and buy it for $19 in a single order...at least I can't.

Eh, I'll be able to buy it off of Amazon in a few weeks. More expensive, but at least I can avoid the club malarkey.

Odd, it shows up as 15 for me. Maybe because I am a VIP member?

DMC also has a ton of 4k discs for 12.99, which is a decent deal.
I kinda like DMC, as long as you remember to decline whatever you don't want, there are some good deals.

That's probably what it is, and you have a 60% off promo running. I lost my VIP status when I canceled my first membership, I think I'm one "commitment title" away, so I have a 50% promo running.

If they ever release a few more exclusives like SOMETHING WICKED and WATCHER IN THE WOODS it's worth staying in it for me. I left a few months before those were released because I was getting fatigued by remembering to cancel the monthly title. :D

$35 at Target, and is currently part of their "Buy Two, Get One" promo. Grabbed this, the interesting-looking Primetime Panic collection and a pre-order of the 4K release of 12 Monkeys, all for around the same price. Plus I knocked off a bunch of Pixar/Disney and other titles I had my eye on. Saved about $87 for a total of $193 for a dozen titles, or around $16 and change per. 8)
