Re: FERNGULLY Gets Its Live-Action Remake!

I can't balk at the prospect of seeing a live actress in that costume!

Re: SUPERMAN Thread - SUPERGIRL Trailer Release

Trying to sell a superhero movie in 2026 is like trying to sell a disaster movie in 1985...it's a steep, uphill battle. I had some idiot on Twitter yelling at me that the next two Avengers movies would make "Two billion apiece!"

Re: STAR WARS: THE MANDALORIAN & GROGU - Super Bowl Ad Disaster

If you end the "Skywalker Saga" on a note as flailing and incoherent (and insulting) as Rise Of Skywalker , then spend the next five years churning out a non-stop slop factory of increasingly lame crap (thus conditioning people to accept a previous generation's epic BIG-SCREEN franchise as streaming ...

Re: Dalton on his tenure as 007: "I was punished for being right"

I'm Team Dalton here...his interpretation of Bond (terse, mean, yet not without glimmers of humor) was a breath of fresh air compared to the buffoonery of a badly past-his-prime Moore by the mid-80s, and it's a shame that the legal morass the franchise fell into in the early 90s scuppered his tenure ...
