"Bait and Switch" Series: Come for the Monsters, Get Fed the Lesbians

Theo and I have been watching MONARCH Season 2 and it's pretty much more of the same -- solid production values but who among this audience wants to watch a tentative lesbian romance in the middle of this genre. Just...weird. Especially given there's no romance even of the HETERO variety in the recent Godzilla/Kong films.

It reminds me of the JURASSIC WORLD cartoon he watched on Netflix which also had lesbian stuff thrown into it for no apparent reason (other than indoctrination for the kids) given the genre.

This post nails it, throwing MONARCH among other BAIT AND SWITCH series. ALIEN EARTH is yet another of those...and it scarcely resembles the movies when it's all said and done!
