The descriptions of the format sound impressive, tho the list of HD-DVD titles which are actually available seems rather paultry (though you CAN get Caddyshack and Firewall!).

Now that I have HDNet Movies -- and watched 2001 and 2010 in HD back to back the other night -- I have to say I'm more interested in these formats than previously.
That said, I've seen some recent standard DVDs that look as good as some HD content I've seen more or less as well, so I'd probably save HD DVD Purchases for favorite titles (JAWS, etc.) when they start coming out...or I begin getting review copies first!
