I was 13 at the time this came out...a huge animation/Disney fan. I had seen the Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, even mediocre stuff like the Ducktales movie in theaters....and even back then I knew Ferngully was dumb. It's no classic.

I can't balk at the prospect of seeing a live actress in that costume!
