Bowler Hat and Leather Boots is an iconic British television series from the 1960s, extended in the 1970s by The New Avengers. Created by Brian Clemens and produced with Albert Fennell, this second series features the elegant secret agent Patrick Macnee in the role of Steed, supported by Gareth Hunt (Mike Gambit) and Joanna Lumley (Purdey). Mixing espionage, action, fantasy and British style, the series has marked several generations and is a modernized extension of the original series.
